For Members

We welcome new members and people interested in dragon boating!

Membership grants the following privileges and benefits:

  • Voting privileges at All Paddler's Meeting and Annual Meeting.

  • Access to all practice sessions at both locations

  • Participation in local, regional, and international races

  • Eligibility to become a member of the Board of Directors and/or Committees

  • Notice of social events such as potlucks, game nights, knitting circles, and holiday celebrations

  • Notice of training events, such as strength training, stroke technique clinics, 5k races (running), caller/drummer clinics, etc.

Membership Types

Full YearRegular membership (Jan-Dec) is $120.
Off -season membership (Sept-Dec) is $60.

This membership expires on December 31st of the current year.

KWAC fees of $20 apply to regular paddlers at the Kenmore location.

Regular members enjoy full privileges and benefits.

Youth Membership

​Children and young adults (ages 10-17) may paddle for free if the parent is a current club member. Children ages 10 and 11 must be accompanied in the boat by an adult.

This membership expires on December 31st of the current year.

Adult students (age 18 and older) membership rate:
Full year (Jan-Dec) is $60.
Off Season (Sept-Dec) is $30.

This membership expires on December 31st of the current year.


Adult student members do not have voting privileges, but otherwise enjoy all other privileges and benefits.

Short-term membership is $30 for 3 months. This is allowed once per year only.

This membership level may be for you if you are temporarily working in or visiting the area for up to 3 months. If you decide to become a regular member, the short-term membership fee will be applied to a regular membership at any time during the same membership year. ​

Affiliate membership is $60.

This membership level is for members of a KWAC club and/or another area dragon boat club.

This membership expires on December 31st of the current year.
